richard hodges: air transportation superintendant

This month’s “Featured Vet” is retired Air Force Senior Master Sgt Richard Hodges. Sgt Hodges served as an Air Cargo Specialist, Air Transportation Supt., Vehicle Equipment Supervisor, and Vehicle Maintenance Supt. He saw duty in Thule Greenland, Clark AB in the Philippines, Cam Rhan Bay, Vietnam, Tan Son Nhut, Vietnam, and numerous Stateside bases. Sgt Hodges holds a BS from the University of New York, and served in the US Postal Service for over 20 years.
His decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation medal with 2 OLC, Vietnam Service, Vietnam Campaign, and Vietnam Gallantry Cross.
Sgt Hodges is currently on the Board of Directors of Chapter 887
