Werner (ski-1) koslovski: chief master sgt, usaf

Chief Ski served our Chapter on the Board of Directors.  He began his Air Force career on 21 December 1956 and retired with the rank of Chief Master Sgt after 33 years.  He spent virtually his entire career in the Far East, with assignments in Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Okinawa, Philippines, and Korea, retiring at Clark Air Base. Most of his assignments were in support of the fighter flying mission, but also served as an ATC instructor and on the PACAF command staff.  His Vietnam experience included tours at Tan Son Nhut, DaNang, Chu Lai, Bien Hoa, and Phan Rang. His many decorations include the Bronze Star with "V" device, Meritorious Service Medal, AF Commendation Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal,Vietnam Service Medal,AF Presidential Unit Citation,AF Outstanding Unit Award,AF Excellence Award,Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm,Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
